1. Largemouth Bass: Bass are holding on main lake and secondary points, primarily in 15-20 feet of water. Carolina-rigged plastic worms and deep-diving crankbaits in pumpkinseed or june bug colors are producing best results, especially early and late in the day.
2. Striped Bass: Stripers remain active in Nutbush Creek and along the main river channel from Kimble Point to the dam. Trolling green, white, and yellow bucktails 22-25 feet deep, as well as jigging with Hopkins spoons, is effective during both day and night.
3. Crappie: Crappie are concentrated around brush piles and bridge pilings in 10-15 feet of water. Small minnows, crappie jigs, and live worms are the go-to baits for consistent catches.
4. Blue Catfish: Blue cats are biting well on cut bream and shad near channel breaks in 20-30 feet of water, especially around the lower lake areas.

With mild temperatures and light winds, fishing conditions are favorable despite chance showers and thunderstorms. Anglers should focus on deeper structure and points during the day and take advantage of early morning and evening topwater opportunities for bass. Patience and varied presentations will pay off as fish adjust to weather changes. Enjoy your time on Kerr Lake!
