1. Largemouth Bass: Bass are active in shallow coves and creek points chasing shad schools. Focus on casting shallow-running crankbaits, plastic worms, and spinnerbaits around submerged wood and flooded brush.
2. Crappie: Crappie remain concentrated on brushpiles in 10-15 feet of water. Minnows and small jigs fished slowly near these structures are producing the best catches.
3. Striped Bass: Stripers are holding deep near creek mouths, particularly around Nutbush and Bluestone Creeks. Live shad and cut bait fished near channel edges and deep points are most effective.
4. White Bass: White bass are schooling in the upper creeks but in smaller numbers. Casting spoons and small crankbaits around creek mouths can yield occasional catches.

Cooler air temperatures and steady rain showers are keeping fish active but scattered. Anglers should focus on targeting cover and structure in shallow to mid-depth ranges for bass and crappie, while deep presentations remain key for stripers. With water temperatures still in the mid-70s, fishing opportunities remain solid—persistence and varied presentations will pay off this week on Kerr Lake. Good luck out there!
