Water Level: 294.95 | Water Temperature: 47.3˚
Weather: 23˚ | Partly Cloudy | Winds: 5 mph
1. Largemouth Bass: Still active in shallow 3-4 feet of water. Use Speed Shads or square-billed crankbaits with a stop-and-go retrieve around shallow coves and submerged timber.
2. Crappie: Holding tight to deep brushpiles. Vertical jigging minnows directly over these structures will produce the best results.
3. Striper: Bite remains slow but anglers are finding some success trolling Cordell Redfins and free-lining live shad downlake around the 25-foot depth mark over deep water.
Cooler temperatures and stable water levels are keeping fish more lethargic, but consistent presentations in key areas are rewarding anglers who stay patient. With partly cloudy skies and light winds, boat control and presentation will be key this week. Stay persistent and focus on structure—good fishing opportunities remain for those willing to work the shallow to mid-depth transition zones. Good luck out there!
