1. Largemouth Bass: Still active in shallow 3-4 feet of water. Use Speed Shads or square-billed crankbaits with a stop-and-go retrieve around shallow coves and submerged timber.
2. Crappie: Holding tight to deep brushpiles. Vertical jigging minnows directly over these structures will produce the best results.
3. Striper: Bite remains slow but anglers are finding some success trolling Cordell Redfins and free-lining live shad downlake around the 25-foot depth mark over deep water.
Cooler temperatures and stable water levels are keeping fish more lethargic, but consistent presentations in key areas are rewarding anglers who stay patient.
