1. Largemouth Bass: Fishing is fair to good on main lake points and shallow humps in 6-10 feet of water near rocks and brush. Use crankbaits, spinnerbaits, and plastic grubs, as well as Carolina-rigged lizards to entice bites.
2. Crappie: Excellent action continues over submerged brushpiles and in shallow coves. Slow trolling with small minnows in 3-8 feet of water is very effective.
3. Striped Bass: Stripers are holding off major creek points in 8-15 feet of water. Cut shad on the bottom remains a productive bait, with some midday surface action possible using bucktails or live shad near buoy 4.

As temperatures remain cool with a chance of rain showers, anglers should focus on slower presentations and target structure near main lake points and creek backs. Water temperatures in the low 40s suggest fish will be less aggressive but still responsive to natural baits and finesse techniques. Stay patient and adjust depths as needed. With consistent water levels and mild winds, conditions remain favorable for productive winter fishing on Kerr Lake. Get out early and enjoy the steady bite!
