1. Largemouth Bass: Bass are active in 6-12 feet of water around buckbrush, willow trees, and rocky points. Early mornings favor topwater baits like buzzbaits and Zara Spooks, while mid-day bites improve on jig ‘n pig rigs, plastic worms, and Senkos fished near submerged timber.
2. Striped Bass: Stripers are being caught trolling broken-back Redfins and bucktails 10-15 feet deep along main channels and near the dam. Night fishing with these lures near Eastland Creek and Clarksville continues to produce quality fish.
3. Crappie: Crappie remain aggressive, schooling near submerged brush and bridge pilings in 10-15 feet of water. Small jigs and live minnows fished slowly are recommended.
4. Catfish: Catfish are biting well on cut shad and chicken liver, especially in shallower coves and near creek mouths.

With stable water levels just under 300 and a mild, partly cloudy week ahead, fishing conditions are favorable. Moderate winds will help keep oxygen levels up without overly disturbing the water. Anglers should focus early and late in the day for topwater action on bass and look to deeper structure mid-day for stripers and crappie. Patience and varied presentations will pay off as fish continue to transition into their late spring patterns at Kerr Lake. Get out and enjoy some solid fishing this week!
