1. Largemouth bass: Expect slow but steady fishing around main lake points and rocky areas in 6-10 feet of water. Crankbaits, spinnerbaits, and small soft plastics like chartreuse/pepper grubs are productive options as bass begin to move toward pre-spawn staging areas.
2. Crappie: Crappie fishing remains excellent over brushpiles and in shallow coves. Slow trolling with small minnows in the backs of coves can yield good catches, especially near submerged structure and woody cover.
3. Stripers: While action may be slowing, stripers are still being caught off major creek points in 8-15 feet of water using cut shad. Surface activity tends to pick up around midday, with bucktails and drifting live shad working well. Keep an eye out for gulls that may indicate feeding schools.

As the weather stabilizes with sunny skies and mild temperatures, expect the fishing to remain consistent for the early spring transition. Focus on structure and creek points for best results, and be patient as fish start to move more actively in the warming water. Tight lines and good luck out there!
