1. Crappie: Anglers are finding good numbers of 1-3 pound crappie around brushpiles and bridge pilings, using small minnows and jigging spoons in 10-15 feet of water.
2. Largemouth Bass: Bass are active in pockets, coves, and along bluff banks. Target shallow rockpiles and wood structure in 4-6 feet, or deeper humps and ledges in 10-14 feet with rattletraps, plastic grubs, and jig ‘n pig presentations.
3. Striped Bass: Stripers are schooling near the shoreline and can be caught trolling bucktails or live shad around the Clarksville area. Casting 4-inch Sassy Shads or Rat-L-Traps into shad schools is productive.

The clear, cool weather and steady water temperature are providing stable conditions for late fall fishing at Kerr Lake. With bass and crappie holding near structure and stripers actively feeding along the shore, now is a great time to target multiple species. Anglers should focus on slow, deliberate retrieves and watch for shad schools to maximize success this week.
